Selling games to raise money
I’ve decided to sell a few games to raise cash for some purchases I need to make, namely books and drawing material.
I’m only selling games that I either don’t care much for or game that I’ll never in a million years will get to play – like Die Macher.
Actually, Die Macher is the game I’m more reluctant to let go of, since it holds so many promises of being a fantastic piece of gameplay, almost a work of art, 5 hours of pure, unadulterated gaming bliss.
But it’s got to go, because I’ll never play it. Where am I going to find 5 hours for this game, and worse, where am I going to find 3 or 4 willing opponents, preferably who can teach me the game?
So I give up.
I’m keeping the stuff I like best anyway, and there’s still so many games to unravell and explore that I won’t go missing the ones I’m trading away.
I’ve got, at this precise moment, about 90 games. I’m selling 20 to start with, and later I may sell another 20. I reckon 50 games make for a pretty decent collection, for someone who is not a collector and enjoys gaming for the social aspect.
You can find the games I still have for sale right here.
